They are easy to insert for all levels of dexterity and avoid conflict when wearing glasses, hats, etc.  Agisson can offer you this device in many different skin tones and different types of ITE Hearing aids such as: full shell, half shell, canal, mini canal, completely in the canal (CIC) and others, from a variety of producers.

Behind-The-Ear (BTE) Hearing aids

Behind-The-Ear (BTE) Hearing aids

As the name suggests, these types of hearing aids are the ones placed hidden behind the ear with a tube going into the ear and connected to a molded receiver that fits snugly in the outer ear. Our specialists can help you determine whether you prefer a fully automatic aid that requires no manual adjustments – or a hearing aid that offers full control. Such Hearing aids offer controls like: volume control and/or push button that allow selection from multiple programs adapted to specific situations. BTE models are available in many different colors, styles, designs, from various producers

Suitable for: all types of hearing loss.

Micro BTE/ Receiver-In-The-Ear (RIE) Hearing Aids

Micro BTE/Receiver-In-The-Ear (RIE) Hearing Aids

Like the standard BTE, the main section of this hearing aid is hidden behind your ear. Some times, unlike a standard BTE – where the receiver is included in the hearing aid case – the receiver has been removed from the BTE housing and mounted externally in a tube fitted into the ear with a soft dome. You will therefore find that RIE hearing aids are usually smaller than standard BTE hearing aids. These models are available in many different colors, styles and designs, depending on the producers.

Our professionals can help you determine if a RIE hearing aid is suitable for you and your hearing loss.

Suitable for: mild to moderately severe hearing loss.

For your information, some of our hearing aids are compatible with Bluetooth ® wireless technology. That allows you to transmit the signal directly into your hearing aid from your TV, phone or other audio sources, like never before.
